The new Kids United location will occupy approximately 2,030 square feet within the shopping center. The lease transaction was facilitated by Edward Gottlieb, CRX, CLS of Schuckman Realty, who represented the landlord, Regency Centers. Deanna Durso represented the tenant, with Sean Mirkov of Regency Centers also involved in the transaction.
Kids United is a franchise organization with locations throughout the United States, offering a wide range of athletic and enrichment programs for children up to nine years old. Programming includes age-appropriate activities designed to promote physical development, coordination, and confidence, as well as a Parent & Me program for toddlers.
The East Meadow Regency Center is a well-established retail destination anchored by notable co-tenants such as Stu Leonard’s and Marshalls, drawing consistent traffic from East Meadow and surrounding communities. The addition of Kids United further strengthens the center’s family-oriented tenant mix and enhances its role as a community gathering place.
The lease was signed in 2024, and the new Kids United location is expected to open in February 2026. The concept is anticipated to be a welcome addition to both the shopping center and the broader East Meadow community, providing valuable programming and recreational opportunities for local families.
